Markets in Cape Town : The Best weekly/monthly Markets
Surely you have been to the V & A Waterfront ?
There is a wide range of typical South Africa arts and crafts as well as South African souvenirs available.
You will find great Cape Town souvenirs at the Red Shed market stalls in the V&A Shopping Center as well as in the Blue Shed next to the Cape Town Aquarium.
Then there is also tourists' favorite Greenmarket Square market in Cape Town's city center and the market stalls in Cape Town's pedestrian zone, the St. George's Mall.
However there are also some other informal markets open during the week like the popular informal traders with many wood and stone carvings, beadwork and fabric along the Atlantic Seaside driving from Camps Bay to Hout Bay near Llandudno or in the summer season along the Blouberg Beach Front.
On weekends you will be able to source a wide range of Cape Town souvenirs also from the Hout Bay market as well as the Greenpoint Market across the new Green Point Park and the other markets you will find in this Cape Town market guide.
There are some Cape Town markets for second hand goods and antiques or bric-a-brac in the Mother City. These are the three biggest fleemarkets in Cape Town

• Cape Town East: Somerset West Flea Market

There are informal trading markets located in the townships too, but you should visit them only with a reputable and knowledgeable tourist guide.
